Alana Hadid - the 38-year-old sister of Bella and Gigi - just made her epic runway debut - GLAMOUR UK

You may think that the blessed Hadid gene pool peaks with Gigi, Anwar and Bella Hadid. Yet, the good looks are also shared with their older half-sister, Alana Hadid, who just made her runway debut at Copenhagen Fashion Week.

The 38-year-old, who shares a father (Mohammed Hadid) with Gigi, Bella and Anwar, walked in both the Munthe show in Denmark this week and the Saks Potts show.

During the Munthe show, Alana wore two contrasting looks: a sheer mesh floral dress embroidered with shimmering beads, and a black leather mini dress with flower shaped cut outs.

Alana wore a natural makeup look that highlighted her vibrant blue eyes, and her hair was styled in loose waves.

Alana also has an older sister, Marielle, 42, who is another half-sister to Gigi, Bella, and Anwar. Alana and Marielle’s mother is Mary Butler, Mohammed’s ex-wife.

The older Hadid has been in the fashion world long before her half-sisters became some of the world’s top models. She’s a fashion designer and co-founder of Los Angeles unisex brand La Detresse.

Could Alana Hadid be about to knock her sisters off their top spots? Only time will tell, but Alana’s debut comes as Bella has announced that she’s back to work again after recovering from Lyme disease.

The 26-year-old has posted several candid photos of her in an out of hospital over the last few months, and earlier this week described part of her ordeal with the condition.

“Living in this state, worsening with time and work while trying to make myself, my family and the people who support me, proud, had taken a toll on me in ways I can’t really explain,” she wrote on Instagram. “To be that sad and sick with the most blessings/privilege/opportunity/love around me was quite possibly the most confusing thing ever.

“I have so much gratitude for and perspective on life, this 100+ days of Lyme, chronic disease , co infection treatment, almost 15 years of invisible suffering, was all worth it if I’m able to, God willing, have a lifetime of spreading love from a full cup, and being able to truly be myself, for the first time ever.”

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection spread to humans by infected ticks. The UK sees around 1,000 cases of Lyme disease each year. In a few cases, some people with Lyme disease may continue to see symptoms for years after their first diagnosis, including tiredness, aches and loss of energy.
