The interiors from Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, the curtains, the reds, the paintings, which were created by Christiane Kubrick, the director’s wife, informed Jonathan Anderson’s AW24 collection. Images from Christiane’s paintings, including one of the family cat, appeared on knitted maxi dresses, sweaters and a large shopper bag. Background elements like curtains, sofas and scatter cushions morphed into clothing. The show notes described it as ‘weird and perversely domestic’.
