Blooming Buds Modelling Agency will next week host the first-ever edition of the Secret Diamonds Fashion Week (SDFW).
The organiser of the show and executive director of Blooming Buds Modelling Agency, Ikanyeng Galebotswe, said the fashion show is mainly focusing on empowering women in the fashion industry, adding that the cultivation of the fashion arts at grassroots level is a sound concept that promises to benefit the public as a whole.

Galebotswe said the Secret Diamonds Fashion Week brings the best local brands and designs styled in a look that will give inspiration on what one can opt to buy as well as sharing of ideas and networking.
“Our experts’ team work on Fashion Week across the country on a regular basis with many of the popular designers. The show will inspire and give confidence to designers to try new styles as well as celebrate women in fashion,” he said.

The theme of the show is “Extraordinary Women, Extraordinary Stories”, celebrating women in business while providing the public with direct access to the local fashion scene.
The Fashion Show will be held on June 29 and 30 at The Horizon, Game City and there will be award ceremony to recognise the best woman in business.

Galebotswe said the proceeds from the event will be dedicated to a non-profit organisation committed to maintaining human dignity and cultivating self-respect by providing sustainable services that encounter the economic, social and educational setbacks faced by families in Botswana.
