Who knew watching a TV show can be so financially-rewarding?
On Teka Tekan, billed as Malaysia’s first live interactive game show, unifi TV (formerly known as HyppTV) subscribers need to only answer the five multiple-choice questions featured on each episode.
To answer, just click the “#” button, then pick either the red, green, yellow or blue button (which corresponds to the four answer options on-screen) on unifi TV’s remote control within 45 seconds.
To win RM20,000, viewers must answer all five questions correctly. If none of the day’s viewers are able to answer the five questions correctly, the prize money will snowball to the following day (for up to five days).
If multiple viewers answer all five questions correctly, the prize money will be divided equally between them.
Hosted by Farouk Hussain, Achong Sweetchild, Shuib Sepahtu and Anas Ridzuan, the questions derive from a wide range of topics including sports, entertainment and general knowledge.
Here’s a tip – those who tune in to unifi TV’s local offerings will have an added advantage, as some questions may pertain to unifi TV’s original content.
“Teka Tekan is a way for unifi TV to thank our viewers for their support and give back,” shares TM head of local content and new media Wan Rozita Aladad Khan.
“Teka Tekan is also a way to encourage families to spend time together. When the show comes on, you’ll get your family members to help you with the questions. There’s a very festive feeling. At the same time, it’s educational.”
Teka Tekan airs every weeknight at 8.30pm on HyppSensasi (unifi TV Ch 116).
The day’s winners will be notified at 10pm on the same channel and online at tekatekan.unifi.com.my.
