Justin Timberlake’s new music video is set in Kuala Lumpur

Just days after he announced his return to music, Justin Timberlake has dropped the first music video from his upcoming album, Man Of The Woods. Titled, Filthy, the video is set in Kuala Lumpur in the year 2028!

What’s Timberlake doing in KL in the near future? The singer-actor plays a robot investor, styled after the late Apple founder Steve Jobs, presenting at a Pan-Asian Deep Learning Conference. The 4.35-minute video is directed by Mark Romanek. Timberlake alerted his fans about the video on Instagram on Jan 5 with the message: “This song should be played very loud.”

The 36-year-old plans to release three more music videos ahead of the album’s release on Feb 2. “This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from – it’s personal,” Timberlake said about his new album.

He is set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show two days after the release of the album.
