Here’s your chance to meet ‘Shuttle Life’ actors Jack Tan and Juztin Lan

Shuttle Life has just been selected to be screened at China’s Ping Yao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival (PYIFF) in the Best Of The Fest category. The inaugural PYIFF will take place at Ping Yao, China between Oct 28 and Nov 4.

The Malaysian film has been making waves internationally, winning six awards in China at two different film festivals and scoring two nominations at Taipei’s 54th Golden Horse Awards.

Its leading man Jack Tan has already earned two Best Actor accolades for the movie in China. The first at the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival’s (SIFF) Asian New Talent Award competition in June and the second at the 12th Chinese Young Generation Film Forum Awards in Wuhan in September.

In conjuction with Shuttle Life opening in Malaysia on Oct 12, Tan and co-star Juztin Lan are meeting their fans in Penang.

If you’re a fan, just make your way to mmCineplexes, Megamall Pinang, Prai on Oct 13 at 8pm. Besides the chance to meet the two of them, there will also be exclusive movie merchandise up for grabs.

In the movie, Tan plays a 19-year-old who is trying to keep his family together, while Lan plays his 18-year-old friend who lends a helping hand.
