The popular Chinese sleuth Detective Dee strikes again

Something Dee-lightful is happening on Malaysia’s premier streaming service, dimsum.

The most celebrated official in Chinese history, Di Ren Jie, or more popularly known as Detective Dee, is brought to life (again) in a new Chinese series which is currently streaming on dimsum.

Since its release in China, Detective Dee has garnered a total of 500 million views and is considered one of the top prime time dramas after The King’s Woman, which is also available on dimsum.

This wuxia drama begins when Minister Yan Li Ben encounters a young Di (Allen Ren Jia Lun) who is wrongly imprisoned for a crime he did not commit.

Yan discovers Di’s talent in solving cases and decides to release him. Di gains recognition as a heroic detective.

When Di finds out a plot to overthrow the current reign , he works to expose those behind the coup … including the woman he loves, Murong Qing (Kan Qing Zi). The 46-episode drama airs from Tuesday to Thursday on dimsum.
