Malaysia’s biggest bands bring the noise to Rocktoberfest Borneo

Headbangers, metalheads and air guitarists, listen up! Here’s your chance to rock out with some of Malaysia’s biggest acts at Rocktoberfest Borneo, a two-day music festival happening on Oct 6-7 at the Beachfront in ParkCity Everly Hotel in Miri, Sarawak.

The event will feature performances by headliners Hujan and Estranged. Other acts include XPDC, OAG, Bunkface, Monoloque, Kyoto Protocol, Dirgahayu, SevenCollar T-Shirt, Pesawat, Koffin Kanser, Masterpiece, Nice Stupid Playground, Me Gusta, Polar and more.

Another highlight is Filipino heavy metal band Slapshock, famous for songs like Agent Orange and Langit. The band will be promoting its latest studio album Atake.

Rocktoberfest Borneo also has a TradKulture Jam acoustic sessions planned for fans to learn the basics of traditional Borneo sounds and get the chance to make music with accomplished maestros.

Two-day passes are priced at RM138 each. Over 1,000 tickets have already been snapped up and fans are urged to make their purchases quickly before ticket sales close on Oct 5.
