Renowned musician Kitaro is back to wow Malaysians on Dec 24 at the Arena Of Stars, Resorts World Genting.
Kitaro’s concert, organised by Star Planet, is part of the upcoming Kojiki & The Universe tour, in which Kitaro will perform songs from his Grammy nominated 1990 album Kojiki.
His performance will be complemented by dynamic, space age photographic scenes of the universe. Audiences will witness time-lapse images and real-time films from space, courtesy of Nasa and Kyoto University.
Kitaro, whose real name is Masanori Takahashi, is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Japan. His 1999 album Thinking Of You won a Grammy for Best New Age Album, and he earned a Golden Globe for Best Original Score for the 1993 film Heaven & Earth.
