Are you looking forward to The Hitman’s Bodyguard?

It seems like Hollywood director Patrick Hughes, who did The Expendables 3, has assembled actors with a sense of humour for his latest movie The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

There is Ryan Reynolds, who showcases his sharp wit every time he posts a photo on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson takes on a role depending on how much fun he can have while making a film (Snakes On A Plane is a prime example). The Hitman’s Bodyguard also features Salma Hayek, whose comedy skills is obvious whenever she appears on talk shows.

So, by that logic, The Hitman’s Bodyguard promises to be a fun affair.

Reynolds plays Michael Bryce, a protective executive agent – or bodyguard in layman’s terms – who is in charge of protecting hitman Darius Kincaid (Jackson) as he is a key witness in a court case. Now the thing is, Darius has tried to kill Michael more than 20 times in the past … 28 times to be exact. Naturally, it’s not going to be the most ideal relationship … and that’s where the fun comes from.

Also starring Gary Oldman, Elodie Yung and Richard E. Grant.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard opens on Aug 17.
