Singer Niall Horan offers fans his Slow Hands

One Direction’s Niall Horan has released a new solo single, following up last year’s This Town. Before releasing Slow Hands to fans, Horan took to radio show SiriusXM Hits 1 to talk about the track with host Mikey Piff, who later tweeted, “#SlowHands is awesome. Unexpected and can’t wait for you to hear what it sounds like.”

Slow Hands is the second solo single from the Irish singer. Horan’s This Town was released in September, the first solo single released by any of the remaining One Direction members.

The track arrives the same week that fellow 1D member Harry Styles revealed another track off his own debut solo album, which is due out May 12. Release details about Horan’s album have yet to be revealed.

Slow Hands is now available to stream or download via this site.

Sisters unite

After revealing plans for a sophomore album late last month, Haim has just released a second track from the LP, titled Want You Back.

The album, Something To Tell You, is out July 7 and follows nearly four years after Este, Danielle and Alana Haim’s critically acclaimed debut album, Days Are Gone.

The sisters accompanied the news with a first song, Right Now, and a music video directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Momentum is continuing to build for the highly anticipated album with the release of Want You Back, which got its premiere on BBC Radio 1. Whereas Right Now marked a departure from the trio’s signature pop sound, fans of the sisters’ debut album may be glad to hear them treading familiar ground in Want You Back.

The band has performances coming up at Glastonbury, Splendour In The Grass, Reading and Leeds music festivals and Lost Lake Festival in Arizona in the US, with more live shows to be announced. They’re also set to play Saturday Night Live on May 13.

Right Now is available to download or stream via this site.

Paramore says Told You So

Pop-rock band Paramore has a new album on the way, and they’ve just released Told You So, and a new video that finds the trio sporting matching berets.

The band revealed plans recently to release a fifth studio album, After Laughter, on May 12, accompanying the news with the release of its comeback single Hard Times.

Paramore has followed that up with the upbeat electro-pop track Told You So.

In the music video, lead singer Hayley Williams is seen singing alone in many shots. She is joined by her fellow band members Taylor York and Zac Farro making music in a moving car, the three sporting matching bright-red ensembles and berets. The video is directed by Farro and Aaron Joseph.

After Laughter will follow up the band’s 2013 self-titled album. Paramore is touring Europe in support of the album from June 15 through mid-July, beginning with several shows in Britain and Ireland.
