dimsum and Oh!K partner up to offer best of K-drama

Subscription video-on-demand service, dimsum, recently launched its first branded VOD content from Oh!K. This is part of dimsum’s plan to bring trending Korean entertainment content to its subscribers in Malaysia and Brunei.

Oh!K, a Turner Asia Pacific channel, will provide K-drama lovers access to award-winning series and hit shows such as Splash Splash Love (pic), She Was Pretty, Happy Once Again, Marriage Contract, Lucky Romance, W-Two Worlds and Shopaholic Louis. More series will be made available throughout the year. The content is available in Korean and Mandarin, as well as with multiple language subtitles.

“We are pleased to have regional and global partners like Turner on dimsum as we continue to grow our content offerings. The partnership will enhance our Korean drama genre on dimsum,” says Lam Swee Kim, dimsum chief marketing officer.

Phil Nelson, managing director of Turner in South-East Asia adds: “This new service offers audiences some of the most entertaining and popular titles from Oh!K. We are looking forward to working with dimsum to share some of the best storytelling – and most famous on-screen talent – from Korea with viewers in Malaysia and Brunei.”
