Suria gave its fans in Terengganu a musical treat recently with a showcase and meet-the-fans session at Mydin Gong Badak, Terengganu. It was part of the radio station’s Jelajah Suria 10 Tahun roadshow, held in conjunction with its 10th anniversary celebrations.
The showcase included performances by Malaysian rock queen Ella, and artistes like Ronnie Hussein, Black, Sarah Fazny, Tajul, Wany Hasrita and Azian Mazwan Sapuwan.
Besides being a way for Suria to thank their loyal listeners this past decade, the roadshow was also a chance for fans to get up-close and personal with their favourite radio deejays and artistes. Apart from that, fans were also invited tp participate in activities to win cash prizes and exclusive Suria merchandise.
Suria programme general manager Subarma Mohtaruddin said the decision to bring the roadshow to Terengganu was totally justified.
“We got such a positive response. It really encourages us to bring more great entertainment to our fans!” he said.
“This week’s Jelajah Suria 10 Tahun event was unforgettable. I feel lucky and grateful to Suria for giving an ‘old’ singer like me a chance to join this roadshow together with so many younger artistes,” said singer Azian.
Fans also got a chance to win cash prizes and exclusive Suria merchandise at the event.
Jelajah Suria 10 Tahun will be heading to Mydin Bukit Mertajam, Penang on April 15. Artistes like De’ Fam, Zarul Husin, Empayar By Ajai, Salma, Oja & Tunable Band, Sufian Suhaimi and Irfan Haris will be there.
The final two stops will be in Perak on April 22 and Selangor on April 29.
