Indonesian singer Afgan heading to Johor

Did you miss seeing Afgan at his Kuala Lumpur concert last year? Well, fret not, for the Indonesian pop idol is returning to Malayysia for another show, this time in Johor Baru.

Afgan (real name Afgansyah Reza) will be performing on 7.30pm, April 8 at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre, as part of his Sides Malaysia Tour 2017.

Organised by IME Malaysia, this is set to be his largest concert yet, and held due to popular demand from his fans, known as “Afganisme”, who have been clamouring for the pop star to come to the southern part of Malaysia for a long time now.

The night will see the guest appearance of Malaysian award-winning rapper and hip-hop artiste SonaOne, whom Afgan collaborated with on the songs X and Rollercoaster, his first collaboration with a Malaysian artiste.

Afgan burst into the music scene back in 2008 with his debut hit Terima Kasih Cinta, then came the wide-spread of his fandom from Indonesia to the region especially in Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia.

The current tour is held to support Sides, his first album since 2013 and his fourth album to date.

Tickets are priced from RM285, and can be purchased online via TicketCharge (http://ift.tt/1bNLODv) or by calling 603-9222 8811. For more information, visit the IME Asia Facebook page (http://ift.tt/2mCJwRZ).
