Megadeth to play its symphony of destruction in Malaysia

Get ready for a headbanging symphony of destruction in May, when legendary heavy metal band Megadeth plays its first ever show in Malaysia.

The Dystopia World Tour 2017 will be held on May 4, 8pm at Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur.

The tour is in support of Megadeth’s latest album Dystopia, the band’s first album in thre years and their 15ht album to date.

Rock critics and fans around the world have hailed Dystopia as a triumphant return for the band, and it received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance.

Founded in 1983, the current Megadeth line-up comprises Dave Mustaine on vocals and guitar, David Ellefson on bass, guitarist Kiko Loureiro and drummer Dirk Verbeuren.

“Kuala Lumpur is somewhere I’ve always wanted to hit when we’ve been trekking through Asia,” Mustaine said in an interview recently.

“They’re going to let us bring our brand of metal music, it’s really rewarding.”

Tickets for the concert are priced at RM428, RM388, RM358, RM288, and RM198. Get them online from Feb 10 (starts at 11am) at http://ift.tt/1bNLODv or call 03-9222 8811.
