The writer and director of cult vampire flick A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night returns with The Bad Batch, a wasteland thriller starring Jason Momoa, Keanu Reeves, and Suki Waterhouse.
A first trailer for The Bad Batch shows a young woman (Waterhouse) gun up and team up with hulking, knife-wielding wastelander Miami Man (Momoa).
Viewers are also introduced to a man in black, Reeves’ robe-wearing The Dream, as a cast of unusual characters assembles.
Ana Lily Amirpour made her feature-length directorial debut with curveball vampire western A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night and is now helming The Bad Batch.
A mid-2017 theatrical release is expected for the film, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival in September 2016 before being screened at Toronto and Fantastic Fest in North America later the same month. – AFP Relaxnews
