The 74th Golden Globe Awards in California recently saw La La Land setting a new record with seven wins, the most by a motion picture in one night. The film also won every award it was nominated for in the Golden Globes.

Meanwhile, Meryl Streep received the Cecil B. De Mille honour of the year and made a powerful speech about, among other things, press freedom.

There’s also that “blink-and-you-will-miss-it” scene where Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield shared a “passionate” kiss after losing to Ryan Gosling…
