After touring eight countries – including Malaysia – to put up 45 shows, Fish Leong saved the best for last for her Tu T’appelles L’amour 2016 concert.
The Malaysian singer performed to a sold-out crowd at Lincoln Center in New York City on Dec 4. She was the first Malaysian Chinese singer to put on a show at the famed venue in the Big Apple.
“This is a dream come true! I feel so proud (of this achievement) and it is so meaningful for my music career,” the 38-year-old singer said.
In the spirit of Malaysia Boleh, Leong brought along a team of Malaysian musicians – including Mac Chew and Jenny Chin – to accompany her during the three-hour show.
Leong began her music career in the late 1990s when she signed to Rock Records in Taiwan. She has released 12 studio albums since and have starred in several movies including the Malaysian flick Ice Kacang Puppy Love.
