Will these comedies make us laugh in the next few weeks?

From crazy adventures and screwball antics to goofy gags and rom coms, comedies will come in all shapes and sizes this summer for sharing a laugh at the movies with friends, family or a date.

Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne paired up again for the sequel to Neighbors. After living next door to a fraternity led by Zac Efron, the young couple are faced with an even noisier sorority in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, including a wild child played by Chloe Grace Moretz.

Efron, who’s back on the cast of Neighbors 2, also stars in Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates, which opens July 8 in the US. Here, he plays one of the Stangle brothers, a pair of hard-partying ladies’ men who inevitably ruin any family reunion. The brothers think they’ve found the ideal dates to accompany them to their sister’s wedding, but Alice and Tatiana turn out to be even wilder than the guys.

Another familiar face of US comedy, Melissa McCarthy, stars as a rebooted ghost hunter in the all-girl remake of Ghostbusters, out July 15 in the US. The movie sees her reteam with favorite director, Paul Feig, who kick-started her career with Bridesmaids in 2011.

Mila Kunis will be stepping into role as a single mother who’s overworked and exhausted by her job and kids in Bad Moms (July 29). After years spent striving for perfection and failing to achieve it, she joins Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn on a binge of freedom, fun and self-indulgence, much to the disgust of the local clique of perfect mums, including Christina Applegate and Jada Pinkett Smith.
