Sneaker label Vans has announced that it is to celebrate its 50th anniversary with a series of music concerts around the world, with acts such as Wu Tang Clan, Erykah Badu, Nas, and Jamie XX all taking part.
The events will take place later this month between March 16 and 19.
A full list of acts and dates can be found on the Vans website, with locations including Austin and Brooklyn in the United States, Cape Town in South Africa, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Toronto in Canada, London, Sao Paulo in Brazil, Seoul in South Korea, and Kuala Lumpur.
As well as live music, the events will also include shoe personalisation, art and photo installations, skate and BMX demos, and much more.
The concert in Malaysia will include artistes like DJ John Cardiel, Ray Barbee And The Mattson 2 (skateboard artists and musicians), and local punk bands Killeur Calculateur, The Fridays and Misgive.
Guests to the concert events will also be able to find out more about the Vans story with memorabilia installations that will focus on iconic events from the brand’s 50-year history. – AFP Relaxnews
